I found something disturbing in my fresh chocolate croissant from the bakery on the corner of Grant and Union this morning.
It can only be best described as the thicker part of a sizable rat's whisker.
I wish I could submit picture evidence but I was too busy trying not to throw up.

The day after Thanks

The old Chinese lady across the road was looking out the window yesterday, as she does every day. I don't know if I felt worse for her not having anyone to eat dinner with, or for there not being any people outside to look at.
The streets were very quiet yesterday. Only an argument in Jasper Street between husband and wife. The husband slammed his car door and drove away.

So, D say's s/he loves my blog.

Whole Foods parking on California. What a torture chamber.
I scratched the side of my car today, trying to squeeze it into a "big car" space only big enough for a motorcycle.
After I had waited for a space to become available for about 20 minutes.

I left and went to Mollie Stones instead. Where the really narrow isles make me really claustrophobic.
So overall, a really stress-free Thanks Giving food shopping experience.
