Whole Foods has opened at the very end of Haight Street, just across the road from the Golden Gate entry. The community thinks that this will add some much needed (???) respectability to the neighborhood. Others worry about added traffic congestion.
I don't know. "Clever" branding and hugely inflated prices?
Clever branding and hugely inflated prices will never change the fact that Haight Street is it's own special brand of community.
Slapping a peace sign on it won't work.
