Only in San Francisco

A man and a woman in their sixties bond in the check out queue at my local grocery store. They talk about Bob Dylan lyrics. Then they move on to talking about the live concerts they went to see back them. All the great bands, all the incredible happenings. They don't mind me listening in and I smile in awe at their stories
- Mind you, laughs the woman in a grey ponytail and reading glasses firm on the tip of her nose. I can't remember much about some of it. I used to smoke a lot of marijuana back then.
- I hope you still do, says the man and blinks at her as he leaves. He wears a worn leather cowboy hat and a very long beard.
The woman turns to me with the mischievous smile of a little girl.
- I still do. But these days it's more for medicinal purposes.
